On June 9 in Sofia took place the second hybrid workshop organised as part of the Partnership Fund’s capacity-building component of the PACT project. The event focused on the topic “Digital transformation and the role of the civil society” and brought together more than 35 representatives of the funded initiatives.

During the event, participants had the opportunity to learn about the civic monitoring concept that ECAS uses in its work, presented by the Executive Director, Asya Kavrakova. The guest speaker, Irina Ilieva, from the ProInfo Foundation shared the results of a crowdsourcing exercise conducted as part of the IDEU project on the challenges Bulgarians are facing in relation to the digital transformation.

During the practical exercise included in the workshop, participants had the opportunity to develop a brief plan for a crowdsourcing campaign on pre-assigned case studies.

The series of workshops will continue in the fall with other interesting topics.
